My bicycle

I bought a bicycle a month ago, and since then I've been trying to make it the loveliest bicycle.
I'm completely addicted to charity shops and walking past the local one to my office last Wednesday I noticed a crashed bicycle, covered in rust and with a bit of a shed like smell to it i couldn't help but be intrigued. On closer inspection I noticed the price tag... 750 rupees!! I couldn't believe my eyes! I asked to test it out, for that price i was expecting the worst, and as i jumped on the bicycle it was great, the brakes worked, gears were original and worked a treat! It folds up too and it even had a basket and a bell! I was sold!
Couldn't quite believe my luck!
After spending only around 750 rupees originally my costs have so far exceeded the price of the bicycle!
The lights were Rs 150, and the lock was double that. However I have to say that for Rs 750 speeder (yes I've named him already) was a bargain and I've now fallen for him so much that I don't mind spending a bit of cash getting him all accessories.

I think I'm going to try and do as much as possible myself, so that I save a bit of cash. Credit Crunch and all that! I doubt I'll spend as much as if I'd bought a new bicycle, but then my bicycle has got character and is such a labour of love that speeder will be priceless!
At the weekend I got started on the bicycle, the chain guard was covered in rust and so i set to task cleaning it up. I had bought some scourers and some garden gloves from the local DIY shop, which were a bargain at Rs 50 each. After taking the chain guard off the bicycle i got scrubbing! I'm reckoning that with all this hard work I'm saving my money from canceling my gym subscription and will soon enough end up with body builder arms. Beat that Fitness First!
Not only that but when the bicycle is ready and gleaming I'll be out on it so much that I'll probably lose a few pounds from cycling round town, and in the process save a few pounds too from cycling instead of taking cabs everywhere.
I'm thinking this bicycle is a pretty good investment, and it was only Rs 750!

Window view

Whenever I see outside the window I like the view and I start commentary i.e. I start describing the things I see. Doing this I started noticing so many things that we usually ignore. I came to know that there are so many things happening around us.

When I started this I use to describe very few things and also notice few things. But days are passing I am getting better and better. Now I think I notice so many things in a single view that I can keep describing things for almost 10 to 15 minutes.
